He may be available for the Palace game, as he resumes full training tomorrow.

a strong centre forward who can hold the ball and bring other players into the game

having said that he can't do any worse than what we have at the moment.

I'd have no problems with McCammon back in the squad, he's certainly better than that shower McPhee.

For twenty minutes as a sub, and with something to prove. Any player will look good in that situation.

He is not a championship level player- he is a pseudo Chris Iwelumo.

He played the whole of the 2nd Half, linked up well with Leon.

Made good runs, looked sharp, looked handy.

allthough the injury has probably destroyed that

My apologies it was the whole half wasnt it. well maybe it was the fact that he tired after twenty minutes that made me think otherwise.

The trouble is all our players should be playing like that- especially our forwards who have more competition than an edition of GMTV.

mccammon has looked good when he has played this season, and he certainly has something to prove. id have him on the bench at the very least

Our forwards at the moment could'nt hit a barn door from 5-yards
as there respective goal-scoring records show and it is most
certianly not for the lack of chances being created as we've created more in 17-odd games this season that we did all last season.
Mccammon has to be worth a shot and would probably be
better than a surly knight who won't run for anything

Agreed, when he came on at Hull he looked the most likely player to get us a goal.

And at Shrewsbury, although we lost, he looked interested and put the effort in - isn't that one half of being a good player - the other half being ability ...

If Knight has ability but isn't putting the effort in, Manager gets to pick who he wants in his team ....

I can see him coming straight back into the first team with the current goal scoring problems we have.
