Worthing
Just back from injury.

Over the whole tournament, I'd be happier with Terry, though if he continues with poor form like yesterday, I'd agree that King was a worthy replacement and should be brought back.

Terry really is poor in 'big' games but is top class in the less important ones - just ask Chelsea fans.

Ledley King did really well against France. I cannot see Sven changing a winning side.

FRUIT OF THE BLOOM
Clean sheet, obviously had a bad game......fools

Terry is a far better player than King.

I remember he had a terrible game for us in Turkey...NOT

But surely you should keep faith with the side that played brilliantly against the best team in the world and lost unluckily, rather than sticking with the team who played less well against a mediocre side - Terry looked like the inferior, less mobile player to Ledley King yesterday

I keep finding myself agreeing with you! What did Terry do wrong? When have Chelsea fans said that Terry is 'poor' in the big games?

If I was King I'd be gutted. What more could he have done in the French game to stake his claim against that inbred pikey Terry?

Why inbred? Why a 'pike' ? for f**k sake, can we not enjoy winning?

I fail to see how last night's result has any relevance to Terry being an inbred pikey - it's a condition of life and has nothing to do with football or his performance on the pitch. Never take life too seriously Rusthall.
:p

OK. We kept a clean sheet against Switzerland. However, they threatened our goal more then the French did (apart from a stupid free kick by Heskey and a suicidal back-pass by Gerrard).

IMHO, King had a very good game against a good team. Terry had a bad/average game against an average team.

It's not the team result that we're on about, it's the performance of the individual.

I think Kings pace would be very useful against Croatia.

The team defended well against France - the midfield pushed out more last night leaving them more exposed. What exactly did Terry do wrong?
