Excuse me not knowing but can someone tell me exactly what
the Forty Notes thing is?
See if I can make it?
What a great way to spend a Sunday.
With loads of Albion fans talking about old times.

The referee was atrocious. Tiger Tawse's goal should never have been disallowed back in 1965! (or was it a different date?)

Belt up, Perseus.

The Forty Notes Fund was set up about two years ago with the aim of providing funds for the manager (then Steve Coppell) to acquire loan players or to purchase players. The fund has raised about £30,000 since its inception, and has helped pay for the services of Dave Beasant, Tony Rougier, Ben Roberts and Chris Iwelumo.

I appreciate that this match on May 1 will come too late to affect anything this season, but there is a reasonable chance we will once again be a lower-half-of-the-table side again next season, and so the playing budget will probably need all the bolstering it can get.

I was told a couple of the auction items - but I can't remember them at the moment. Dur...

We could auction some rarities:
- A Ray Wilkins forward pass
- A Dean Wilkins tackle
- Dean Wilkins' tackle
- Clive Walker's turn-of-pace
- Ian Chapman's slimming tablets

Any other auction items anyone can think of?
