Didn't that happen a couple of seasons ago when both Sussex and the Albion got promoted? Please correct me if I'm wrong as I don't follow the cricket too closely.

Sussex won the Div 2 championship in 2001. Albion were champions that season, but as far as I can recall, we weren't top of the league until April 2002 as we had to play catch up.

When Adams left in October, we were second and I don't recall us slipping from top slot.

And Sussex had only played one match by the time we'd clinched the 2000/2001 championship and that was a draw.

Of course, you could say that when Sussex went top in the football close season, then the two teams were top of the league - but that would be stretching it a bit.
