I've probably missed someone out (apologies if I have), but from my maths Brighton are now third in the list of duration that an English professional football team has been without a ground of their own.
You overtook Charlton a fortnight ago. We went 2,632 days between our last game at the Valley and first game back. I believe it is now (at just past midnight) 2,648 days since the last game at the Goldstone.
I am praying that third is as a high as you go in this particular table, as you're currently five years off the 12 year record shared by the top two; Bristol Rovers (left Eastville 1986, took full ownership of the Memorial Ground 1998) and Wimbledon (left Plough Lane 1991, bought Kingsmeadow 2003). Though given the building time, the politicians-arsing-about time and the delays and red tape that beset doing anything constructive these days, it could be a close run thing :-(
