Just read an article in The Times about the plan to get this train running again in time for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee next year. They are looking to raise funds and once the target has been met the train could be hired our for excursions etc.

Last train ran way back on 30th April 1972. Anyone know anyone who was on it ?

Perhaps we could take our own train to Blackpool and arrive in style?

Something to do with 3rd rail? Could get round that I'm sure. Obviously would need to have 1901 carriages !
