I backed Tranmere at the start of the season to win Division Two. That was, without a shadow of a doubt, the worst football bet I've ever placed.

Last year I bet Lincoln to be relegated from Division Three and they got to the play-off final. I thought that was pretty bad until this Tranmere fiasco.
