All Albion fans going to Cardiff are urged to boycott any "Albion" merchandise being sold outside the stadium.

This merchandise is not just fake but the money paid goes straight into the pockets of the spivs who have ILLEGALLY copied the Albion's logo etc.

Not one penny of the money paid for this trash goes to the Club.

Perfectly legit Club merchandise will be on sale at 8 locations within the stadium. So if you haven't got a flag etc wait until you get inside the ground.

Don't let the spivs rob the Albion of your money !!!! l

BRACKERS - serves you right. Just think - if you had not bought that garbage scarf the Albion could still be playing at the Goldstone. So it's all your fault not scumbags Archer and Stanley.

50 Special Banners - could not the right amount of string be supplied with the banners ? Would make life so much easier !!

So no more buying illegit crap fake merchandise then ?

If you agree please make this a "STICKY" one.

What these spivs do is nothing less than theft !

I agree. There was a bloke selling flags etc outside the County ground in Swindon.

He had a Scouse accent. You can just imagine him looking at the paper and saying, 'What colours do this lot play in?'

'Ah yes, the red & white will do and the blue and white for the other lot'

Buy our own official stuff. The club needs the money.

The banners have got string with them.

And oh, yeah, I agree, don't buy the spiv gear.

Not only are these chavs stealing from the club, but from the state aswell as they're probably all on benefit!

Yes, teaboy.

:lolol:

South Stand Zealot has posted some timely and sensible advice.

Of course people should help the Club by buying the official merchandise.

But ... there are 30,000 of us inside the Stadium. There are eight outlets. We have (say) half an hour to complete our purchases and settle down to enjoy the pre-match atmosphere. Exactly how fast will the queues move?

???

The tat outside WILL be tat. Nevertheless, most of it will sell. And some of it will be a good souvenir of the day, particularly for kids who might be attending their first ever Albion game (like the teaboy at Wembley in 1991).

at the end of the day , you pays yuor money you takes your choice.

i dont really have a problem with buying from street sellers, its poor quality merchandise but its cheaper and you will prob only use it once!

i know the club are hard up but they wouldnt have got a penny if it wasnt for Adam Virgo, do you think he will get a cut of the profits?

sometimes they sell things you cant buy in the club shop, during the div 2 championship parade i bought a laminated poster for £1, didnt sell anything like it in the club shop. i have it on my kichen wall.

No, he will continue to draw wages higher than the national average for playing a game he loves. And probably got a goal bonus and a bonus for making the final.

I can't follow the logic of your argument - it's OK for the club to be hard up because Virgo scored a last minute goal? It's OK to buy tat from a street trader because we got lucky?

That would have been in Brighton, right? I dont really have a problem with locals doing this, after all they're probably fans too. After the Div3 championship game i got a scarf, and it occured to me afterwards that the bloke had been taking quite a risk if we'd lost.

But wouldnt buy anything from some chav in a foreign land.

at the end of the day the club have already sold loads of merchandise this week, they will continue to sell more at the stadium.
what im saying is dont feel ashamed to buy from street vendors, just dont expect quality! .

I agree - people are free to choose to buy what they want.\ But this publicity is needed otherwise people going to a game who don't normally go will buy the tat, have it fall apart and blame the club. These are the people we need to start coming when we get Falmer.

I've still got my 91 Playoff flag which probably had nothing to do with the club - as I recall there was no official merchandise on sale at Wembley so this arrangement must be welcomed.

I'm getting my flag INSIDE the stadium.

I am not, DEFINITELY NOT, going to buy ANY fake and counterfeit merchandise from the spivs outside who, IMHO, are just as bad and crooked as ticket touts.

What are YOU going to do ???
