Talking to fellow seagull fan at work today mentioned that it's
the less of two evils who Id want to win playoff final.
Don't like Leeds and there Yorkshire,"were the centre of the world shite" but can not stand the way Watford play.
I was spitting feathers when we played them.
There gamesmanship, time wasting even when it was 0-0
against us.
Like the old Leeds of early 1970's.
And all we get from Watford is...we are a small club yada, yada.
I mentioned to mate at the home game against the Hornets if they went up they would get less than 20 points next season.
Tonight has just proved my point about their attitude.
COME ON LEEDS!

To be fair on Monday Leeds played like the Leeds of old and were horrible and dirty on last night.

United seemed content to kick their way through Preston but at least Watford try and play football using their pacey wingers.

Come on Watford.

Albion & England forever.

Neither are exactly teams for the purists are they? :glare:

I'll be supporting Leeds because we need the money.

Hopefully we'll kick Watford all over the show as well. Preston were a bunch of sissys.

What about the eight yellows and two reds? That's quite a lot of 'one of those things'? Leeds were a disgrace.

What about them? It was good to see us getting stuck into them.

:lolol: The two reds were hardly for getting "stuck in" Both could have easily been avoided, two players lacking discipline if you ask me. Both kicking the ball away :nono:

Great final in prospect. Former Heavyweights vs. Upstarts.

The Leeds money for Harding is the most important thing for us as Albion fans, but all things being equal I'd like to see Watford up, if no other reason than to demonstrate getting into the Premiership is not just about money - yet.

Leeds hypocritical whining about being impoverished whilst at the same time spending at least three times what any other club in this division has shelled out gets up my nose.

Add to that the odious Ken Bates and there can only be one result that I want.

Come on you Whites

Yep - has to be Leeds, £150k for McGhee's team-building next season and/or more money for the lawyers to see off De Vecchi and Baker.

We didn't ask you, but thanks.

Did you watch the game? I must have missed the Ninja kick a ball away, he was booked for telling the ref what he thought and the second for the tackle on Nugent. Which the ref is looking at again, btw.

:lolol: Who's we?! Its a messageboard which means the messages are viewable to anyone who reads them, I never mentioned aywhere that you asked me! My apologies I thought craineys first yellow was for kicking the ball away. Still shows that at least two of the yellows that made the two reds could have been easily avoided, stupid by the players really. What was Creswells first yellow for? He seemed to be mistified, wondered if the ref got him mixed up with hulse who had just been subbed?

Have absolutely no affection whatsoever for Leeds, their fans, the city or Yorkshire as a whole, so couldn't really give a toss whether they get promoted or not. Watford on the other hand are a progressive club, about the same size as ourselves (roughly and open to debate), they also suffer from losing fans from their catchment area to London teams, most people I have ever met with any affection/association with the hornets have been pretty decent. Watford for me.

I think he is great. I am hoping the ref stands by his decision and Dan is match fit for the final. Time will tell.

You said "if you ask me" - my wife who wrote the first message and then me who wrote the subsequent ones formed the "we"

And yes, it was a stupid case of mistaken identity, but given the shocking standard of ref in these play offs nothing surprises me.
