Boxing question

Hi folks, should be a one or two post thread - so apologies for this.

While we're on the boxing theme, I have memories of a world title bout, and one of the fighters freaking out before/during the fight, and then blaming this on being "dazzled by his opponents trunks"...

However, after searching for ages on google and youtube I've not been able to find anything about this.

I know this is probably a ridiculously obvious/famous bout but I can't for the life of me remember anything else about it (I was quite young at the time!)

Thanks!

I remember Oliver McCall crying having a break down on the way in to fight Bruno, dont think it was his trunks though maybe what was in them?

Just remember one of the guys had "dazzling" white shorts on and the other guy totally freaking out and losing heavily, then his management afterwards saying he was "blinded" or something by his shorts! :lolol:

Wear dark glasses and reflective shorts. Then your opponent dazzles himself. Simple.

Meopham, Kent.
I think it was the Lennox Lewis / Oliver McCall fight, but it was Lennox (rather than anything official from the MCall camp) that was spouting rubbish in the post fight interview about how he thought his clean image and dazzline white shorts may have contributed.

That's why it's barely worth interviewing boxers at the best of times, but when the adrenaline is flowing immediately post-fight, it seems even more worthless than usual.

Cheers. I'll look it up
