The cold weather continues to affect the festive football programme.

Fully three days before the game is due to take place, Tranmere's League One clash with Sheffield Wednesday has fallen foul of the cold snap.

It's the first of the Boxing Day schedule to be called off but there are several other pitch inspections planned in the coming hours and days.

Boxing Day postponed matches:

League One

Tranmere v Sheffield Wednesday

League Two

Bradford v Chesterfield

Macclesfield v Morecambe
