Bournemouth info please

Saturday's my first ever visit to Bournemouth and I can't wait, even though I came down with a heavy cold today, so I'm probably gonna feel like shit on saturday, but who cares? What I wanted to know is this, is it easy to get to the ground? Is it near the town centre? And what's it like for parking, pubs, etc.? Thanks

right now Im gonna give you PRICELESS advice here!!!

park directly opposite Fitness First (should tell u on the fitness first webpage where it is located) at Queens Park, the car park is free and a 10 minute walk and is a piece of piss to get out of...unlike the grounds car park which is a nightmare. It is not near the town centre but it is a 10 min walk from Boscombe town centre...however I would advise you to stear clear of that shit hole, and go to bmuff town centre (if u are going really early)

Dwayne, this car park you mention is it actually the Fitness First car park and if so are they OK about people parking there or is it a council car park? On the map it looks an ideal area to park as it is just far enough away from the ground and also on the right side of the road for a quick getaway! How big is it?
Also looks to be very close to the Queens Park pub so very handy for a pre-match beer.

no it's not the fitness first car park, it is the one oposite fitness first. However, if that one is full then u should use the F first one because no one checks (trust me on this one, and there is no way of them finding out unless they went round to everyone in the place)

It aint very big, only about 70-80 cars but if u get there early ul be fine.

and another thing with f first I used to park there all day when I was at work!!!
