James Marrs believes his side are taking training ground lessons into matches.
And the Albion manager is delighted about it.
The Seagulls have won four Premier League south games in a row going into today’s home game with Tottenham.
Marrs said: “I’m really happy. We have asked the girls to work a bit harder in training.
“We have always been happy where they are in terms of intensity and work rate but we have stepped that up a level. We have moved what we do in training across to matches on a Sunday.”
Marrs sprang a surprise by naming Jay Blackie and Deanna Cooper among his subs for last Sunday’s 3-0 win over Plymouth, secured by Charlotte Gurr’s close-range strike and a late Lisa Fulgence double.
Top half: Albion pld 16, 38pts, Charlton 14-32, Cardiff 13-30, Portsmouth 14-29, Coventry 12-24, Tottenham 14-22.
