[Albion] Bobby Zamora - Coach?

Thunder Bolt

Silly old bat
The one where he scuffed it round the post then turned and winked at H Block? :bowdown:

Not quite. He passed it to a team mate who wasn't able to take a shot and winked at Gary Hart.

At West Ham, he had a header that went wide of the post.

Neal Maupay = 288 minutes per PL goal
Zamora = 350 minutes

Maupay = 163 minutes per Championship goal
Zamora = 187 minutes

Not saying that NM cant learn anything from Zamora but that the latter was somehow a much better goal scorer is a myth.

And Welbeck is better than all of them.

Bobby will always be my idol but on ability alone, Welbeck is the most complete striker we’ve had for many a year. Another outstanding display tonight.

I think Muzza had falling over at the slightest nudge in the back down to a fine art. A serious amount of free kicks won from Glenn.

Yep he never dived but certainly made the most of the contact.

Glenn was an absolute master of drawing contact and getting a foul. He got better and better at it with age too. He should be passing on his knowledge to our young strikers. Could probably run a few sessions along side the ones that Steve Sidwell does about when to foul and take one for the team, I believe he referred to it as the dark arts in commentary earlier this season.
