In a few weeks, me and a few pals are going to the Blackpool game! Gonna make a weekend of it, does anyone know any decent pubs/clubs that allow away fans before the game? and any where decent at night time??

Based in Blackpool it's enough to put you off the place for life.

We stayed in Blackpool last season, we went in the "Old Bridge House" pre match, it was full of Albion fans, and only a short walk to the ground. In the evening we went in the "Litten Tree", very lively pub with a dj, there are quite a few bars in that area to choose from.

You'll be fine most places I think. We drank in some proper dodgy old pubs in town last time, wandered to the ground and had a beer at Frankie and Bennies nearby.

Town was good, area around Walkabout very chavvy, though the Revolutions there is good, ended up in Club Sanuk, decent multi-room venue, definitely the smartest venue in Blackpool, decent women too.

Friendly lot up there. All the bars near the ground have security for home games. Wetherspoons in Lytham Road about 10 mins walk has cheap beer @ £1.79 pint. Lose the scarf after the game and pretend to be a tourist.

Check out the flying handbag. I've never been chatted up so much in my life, shame it was by blokes. my gf at the time was dead jelous. funny as fxxk.

Go to a place called flares, full of very friendly birds , good atmosphere , no trouble.
