oh well we get 30,000 for it so

We won't get that many. There's not enough seats for a start. And some will choose the pub in order to stay dry, so to speak.

That's brilliant news - though I may fall asleep during the match.

I organise a Scout event every year on the first Saturday of October and therefore have to resign myself to not seeing the game that weekend.

The presentation is at 11am on the Sunday, so I should make it to the game on time. I'll have been awake since about 6am on the Saturday, though, so if you hear snoring, you'll know who it is!

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
It will be billed as the battle of the seasides.

Viewing figures will hit dizzy heights of about 50.

It will be an uninspired 0-0 draw and it is guaranteed we will get rained on.

Oh well....

I wonder if you will be able to watch it in Australia(?)

Do they show League football?

Im not sure they do apart from the big games?

I should be able to find a pub showing it with ease then!

Good - it's nice to think we'll get a bit of extra TV money from Sky.

It's ironic to think that in our two seasons in the Championship, it took Sky way longer to get round to showing a game at Withdean, was it as long as March and the Reading game in the first season?

Reminds me when we were last in League 1 Sky also showed Withdean pretty quickly.

They can't make HOME games from Northern SUSSEX??

I know some parts are a bit retarded, but I would have thought a few people could actually DRIVE. When I first read that, I was expecting you to say northern Scotland or something, not SUSSEX:lolol:

Well bumped into a few from places like Rusper, Crawley Down, East Grinstead lately, and even in the villagey part of town where I live there are a few. Who still wear Seagulls stuff, and went to games years ago, but not gone to Withdean due to the ticket system and trying to get them. I am trying to tell them though that its easier to get tickets with the extra 2000 seats, but annoying up here, you can't turn up on the day, and you either face a long wait by post or waste petrol money, or train fares just going to the club shop in Brighton to get the tickets, hence what puts a lot off.

:lolol: :D
