Black arm bands

Why don't clubs have a set of pre-prepared properly manufactured black armbands, similar to the captains armband. Hopefully this will stop the adhoc use of black electrical tape which looks awful, but at least the sentiment is there.

They even have a club employee whose sole duty is to apply the armbands to the kits. He's known as The Gaffa.

I actually agree with [MENTION=2506]Kendo3[/MENTION] in spite of the randomness of his post. I was thinking this when I was watching the Swansea-Villa game the other day. Although I guess the short notice may have been a factor in their decision to use gaffa tape.

Players don't like the captains armband type black ones as they can be grabbed by other players during tackles. They prefer the sticky tape ones, so no slack to grab.
