I don’t think I have seen mention of it before but it seems our old nemesis has been having an ongoing battle with HMRC and lost.

He took part in a tax avoidance scheme which failed and had to cough up a cool £22.5m in tax and penalties.

His last appeal was dismissed last year.

It's not a question of 'letting go'. Archer is rightly loathed by us because of what he did to our club, but on a wider level he is just one example of the loathsome, callous self seeking at the heart of this economic system - the country is ruled by people who would thoroughly approve of what he did to BHAFC. They would see the £56.25p 'purchase' of our club as the actions of a 'red blooded businessman' out to 'provide for his family'. The whole edifice has to go.
