You were lucky it was not Portsmouth today. It pissed down, and Portsmouth is even less attractive when it rains. I had to go and do my QTS tests today, and killing an hour in the Portsmouth rain is not my idea of entertainment.

If you are coming to Portsmouth by train, make sure you check the timetables, as there is loads of engineering work taking place at the moment. Do not plan to drive unless you can persuade your parents to spend the day at Gunwharf Quays!

quite. All trains terminating at Chichester or Fratton if you're lucky and then you need to get a bus into Pompey!

I would find that quote from byf proclaiming he was crap.

5 games, two goals, three assists and two moonwalks.

:clap2: :clap2:

Sign him up forever. He is the man to take us to Falmer.

Sir Bas Savage.

i thought your excuse for not going to Orient was cos of your interview at Portsmouth ???
Yes, it was. Although my mum was unwell and I had to cancel.

Because she was really unwell with flu, it was not right to go out when I had to do things for her"

Would you do that, go out despite your mum being ill?

Well I had some responsibilities to do for her, and it would be damn right rude and selfish.

Plus, even if I could go, how could I get to the train when she couldn't drive??? ??? you utter knobjockey:jester:
