With KLL back and looking sharp, Hoskins getting more game time, playing pretty well and CMS scoring.
Bridge & El-Abd back, unsure of how Barnes played in his 30 minutes today.

After taking today's game into account, which starting 11 do you predict for BHA - Forest?

Same but Barnes starting for Dobbie, and another 30 mins for Kaz.

I would love to see the team we finished with today start apart from Bruno for Calde and Crofts for Barnes.

Yup, would agree with that.

For all Dobbie's obvious talent, he's too easily shrugged off the ball. If he was burying his chances, we wouldn't care, but as he's not there's not enough else he can offer to justify his place currently. Barnes has more to offer defensively, wins more in the air and has a strike rate no worse than Dobbie, probably better.

Kaz is the only game-changing weapon we have on the bench these days, and seems to be more effective in the last half hour of games, than starting them.

Please not Barnes!! Given some proper match time Dobbie could just be the answer! If only short term.
Also, it's a shame KLL can't manage 90 mins as he certainly adds impact to the squad and we certainly need some pace down the left with Orlandi out.

Same starting 11 as today for me please.
Dobbie just needs some match time, and he'll soon be showing us what he's capable of in the Spanish Andy role.

Apologies for the Barnes comment, but genuinely can't see what he brings to the team... Anyway enough of that!
There are a number of players in the team that don't seem to get enough time on the pitch ie- Lopez, dobbie, KLL, crofts etc... And on the rare occasions they do put in an apperance they seem to appear "rusty" and who could blame them??
For some reason the current system/preferred 11 just isn't working! So why not try something different... Clearly I'm no profession football manager (although I am pretty s**t hot on FIFA) but it is clear to anybody that understands football that the current system of CMS up front on his own just isn't working, he's just not the sort of striker to play like that! So why does Gus persists with this?? No wonder keep scraping draws and conceeding weak goals... Lets try something different, maybe a 4-3-3, 4-4-2 anything different to the stubborn style that we seem to be stuck with...
Sorry if this comes across as negative but I genuinely believe we have a good team, it's just finding the right chemistry of which there seems to be a lot of!
As we all know this is a very tough league and can't help but feel that the other teams have sussed out the brighton style of play.. And Gus just doesn't seem to have a plan B??
What happens in the jan transfer window will be crucial to what happens for the rest of the season.

If we take today ..what would you say was wrong? ..I wasn't there so could only go by the radio commentary and from tht it seemed we were creating chances ..first goal badly defended? Not sure about the second ..so out of tht lot on the bench who maybe cud hav given tht scoring touch? Can't c anyone who would hav made a difference ....problem really is the lack of a decent reserve league ..hence the odd game tht gets organised lik the one the other week

This plan b stuff gets trotted out too much IMHO ..ye a big striker would b useful in som situations (or we sign a 5 million pound one not likely)..but we hav som gd players who r capable of executing plan A if thy could stick ball in the net more often and cut out the errors at the back

The fact the last time we one anywhere close to convincingly was against a bottom of the table Bristol city! We are scraping around for a draw every time... Look at the run of conceding goals in 2nd half injury time! Look at the 4 missed penalty opportunities... Yes I agree that we play well at times but with the current set u we are not a 90 minute team!
The start of the season was great, it seems to be the last 10 games or so where problems seem to have arisen... If we had taken advantage of the earlier mentioned situation I have no doubt we would be in the top 3!
In essence something needs to change, whilst brighton play "sexy" football teams such as blackpool, Cardiff and even the scum up the road are making the most of their opportunities...
Change is needed that's all, it's not s bad thing!

I thought Barnes off the field had a very positive impact today?

I'm really wanting to see Spanish Dave on the field, any chance on him challenging Barnes' position?

Really? We only looked like winning once him and Kaz came on. I rate Dobbie but he looked like he couldn't have given less of a shit today.

Barnes won the free kick that led to our second equaliser.

If Bruno has an achilles injury he may very well be rested.

I don't fancy Dunk against Billy Sharp.

Crofts outshone Lansbury in Norwich's promotion year.

Macca definitely to start. He is our best goal scorer, even if he does miss the easier ones. So who is best as his partner?
