......sorry, couldn't resist

personally, I'm happy with Betfair but have been told good things about Betdaq.co.uk

I haven't used them personally but they were rated as particularly good for football in 'Inside Edge' magazine

cantor own a spread betting exchange: Spreadfair.com which I have heard is quite good but again, I've not used it

of the other exchanges lay markets are generally unfavourable, possibly due to the lower turnover however, occassionally youcan get some cracking back odds for small stakes - I have a couple of negligible balances with IBETX.com and betonbet.com but rarely use them - in fact, at the weekend I'll probably go shit or bust with both of these accounts and close them

betonbet.com has an incentive scheme which may help it grow quickly in that the refer-a-friend scheme offers an introducers incentive of 25% of the commission generated over the first 2 years - shame I don't know any high rollers :(

If it's not exchanges that you're looking for in particular have a look at

http://www.weekendfootball.co.uk/

there are links to a lot of the major sites, comprehensive form analysis tools, details of incentive schemes etc. etc.

happy punting

I do bank transfers from Nationwide to Betfair and they normally take a couple of days.

Betfair is the only betting site IMO.
