OK Bints, Gentlemen and Fatboy,

The fun(!) of supporting the Albion continues and unfortunately we have no power to change what happens regarding players and managers, they come and go. One thing that's never changed, particulaly over the last few years, is the praise all those managers and players have directed our way. WE ARE THE ALBION and always will be. If someone feels they can do better elsewhere then they don't really care about us so sod 'em. We need to show the players we want them to keep going so come sat - sing your hearts out. The squads not much different from the one Taylor had and if he can get us up, anyone can.

Sing up for the Champions!!!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Coppell Salutes Away Support

Albion manager Steve Coppell lavished praise upon the 1,232 travelling Seagulls supporters that filled the away end at Nene Park last night. "They were incredible tonight _ they really were!" he told seagulls.co.uk after the match.

"We've had three away games in seven days and we've had great support at all three games but particularly here tonight.

"We were at Hartlepool at the weekend and obviously not so many supporters could make that massively long journey and so we couldn¹t really generate the same atmosphere as we had here. With it being a night game the noise just seemed to hold within the stadium.

"In terms of numbers and in terms of their vocal support it really was like a home game and I think that was one of the reasons why we played so well in the second half because we were playing into our own supporters and they were just cheering it in."

Albion debutant Zesh Rehman was also impressed with his first experience of the Brighton fans. "I thought that the support was excellent. I was a bit surprised but the crowd really got behind the team and that really helped."

Coppell expanded on the help that such a following provides for the team. "It really does give a player energy," he said. "All of the players commented about it and I know that they were very appreciative of the particular role of the supporters _and that role was very important."
