Wouldnt mind nsc users views on the best/worst curry houses/restaurants in Sussex! There is a very good one on my doorstep called the Bengal and ive never had a bad meal in over 15 years.I have dined at a few around the Worthing area but would be interested in any other good establishments across the region!
your thought?

On the ocean wave
Ganges or the Hove Tandoori, Church Rd Hove.

Hove beats Brighton for a few pints followed by a ruby.

Indian Cottage in Shoreham takes some beating. That said, the Nizam in Haywards Heath or Hurspierpoint is very good. Not cheap but worth it.

Oh, and the Ashoka, OBVIOUSLY

Not the worst but certainly not the bst it is ok.

The best I have tried and I dont know the name of it is in Nth Ferring in the parade of shops near the crossing gates. I have only had a take away after dropping brother in law off but very good and reasonably priced.

Newick Tandoori in Newick on the A272 between Uckfield and Haywards Heath. Plus the bonus of a couple of good pubs in the village to warm up in too.

Yep, that's the kiddie

Eshnas Nutrition in Worthing, Ham Road, superb takeaway.

As for eat-in, The Cottage Tandoori in Storrington is my local, and it's pretty good, if a little expensive.

Cafe Rasoi in Heathfield. Absolutely fantastic. As good a curry as I've had anywhere in the world. Indian Cottage in Shoreham and Ashoka in Hove are also very good, but neither come close to the Rasoi. I have actually been known to go back to Heathfield from London to have a curry there, it is that good.

Is the Black Chappati still on the London Road at Preston Circus? That food really was something else.

For a while that was being ranked by them that know as one of the top five in the country. Run by a nutter called Steve (?) who used to sit down next to you whilst you ate and have a chat.

He used to sell really dry Normandy cidre as an alternative to wine/beer - and it worked incredibly well. I still drink cider with curry to this day.
