regarding future coverage of Brighton & Hove Albion FC.

Since the digital switchover, BBC South East Today has been serving the majority of viewers in the Brighton area and to the west as far as the River Adur. The editorial change was made so that more resources could be allocated to that part of Sussex and as far as the football is concerned, there are likely to be more club stories covered in future.

However, BBC South Today will still carry the B&HAFC results both midweek and at weekends and will also report any significant news stories about the club by taking the material from SE Today. In addition there is also a full range of services from the BBC's other media outlets: BBC Sussex & Surrey and online.

I hope that this goes some way to explaining the slight changes and that you will continue to watch and enjoy our programme.

I've switched to South East. A programme earlier in the week on South Today bemoaning poor old Pompey's fate was the straw that broke the camel's back for me
