What really wound me up last night was Tyldesley going on and on and on and on and on about how bloody good the French were. He almost went orgasmic every time Zidane touched the ball.

Yeah ... but the cliches that the ITV team come out with are gut wrenching ..... it seems they must have reams of A4 with cliches for every occasion:
A young head on old shoulders
Backs against the wall
Rearguard action
A tiger in the tackle

etc etc etc etc ..... it was endless ..... it made me feel as sick as a parrott
