BBC Coverage of FA Cup - Deeply Patronising or Welcome Coverage Of Grass Roots?

Can't decide on this one. Suspect it's deeply patronising, as in why pick the Accrington Stanley match and give it the full prime-time treatment. Don't really care either way, and it's deeply inoffensive and, being the Beeb, they do it GOOD. And also, being the Beeb, it's no doubt pretty cheap prime-time to cover aye?

Anyone got any views?

Welcome change for me compared to the usual diet of Man-utd, Chelsea etc. At this stage of the FA cup, you ALWAYS get patronising stories about potential giant killers. And why is it, all potential giant killers are either postman or stockbrokers??

And there's always shots of little kids in pink anoraks jumping about behind a fence. And references to car boot sales.

Quite sweet really.

And dead cheap.

The corner quietly rusting
Yeah but rubbish game controlled by a rubbish ref who punnished every non foul and missed every battering the Sodje dished out.

Sodje is good entertainment value. He played for Macclesfield when the Albion travelled there a few years ago. His positional sense was bizarre. The sight of a centre half flying down the wing and putting in crosses caused chaos in the albion defence that evening......We lost! :nono:
