Bars/restauants at Falmer 2

I appreciate that there will be bars/food stands at Falmer, presumably as at most new grounds, these will be in the dreary concrete concourses around the stadium, serving the usual overpriced 2nd rate fast food and mass produced lager. However, do the plans include what could be called a members social club with locally sourced food/draught beer in a more convivial setting, something that would encourage members to arrive at the ground early and spend money there, rather than in town?

I can assure you the concourses will be far from dreary and run of the mill. They have been designed to encourage people to come early and stay late, and will include flatscreen TVs showing either matchday TV or live Sky matches. Also, regarding your comment about second-rate food, we are looking at a wide-range of food and drink options, including healthy eating options.

Regarding the supporters' social club, it was designed to be in the bund building. Unfortunately the withdrawal of Government funding means that building is no longer going ahead. We are now looking at suitable alternatives.
