BALLS Last Night

1. Ball hoofed WAY into the woods behind Block J by Southend player. Much shouting of 'Now go and get it!' He never did. Probably still there

2. Ball hoofed FIERCELY into the North Stand circa Block Q. Must have given somebody one almightly clout cos it then richoted at great velocity into the underside of the roof. That is going to HURT in the morning!

1) the ball smashed into the woods

2) when the ball came down from a height into the north stand for someone to stand up and head if further along the stand *TEXTBOOK*

Closely followed by Tom Fraser walking to the old dugout until he realised they'd moved... the steward then had a lark with him about it, so Tom nicked his hat and lobbed it.. marvelous!
