On a sort of similar note, I've often thought about doing a list of all the players we're linked with and comparing it with how many actually join the club!

These were all made August 1-5. No editing since. Incredible stuff.

“For the first time since the 2017–18 season, all three promoted teams will SURVIVE!”

“Kalvin Phillips to make fewer than 10 league starts”

“Brighton to get top 6.
Martial to outscore Nunez.
Fred and Kulusevski for TOTS.
Leeds, Southampton and Bournemouth relegated.”

“Sean Dyche drags Everton away from relegation trouble, but is booed by the Goodison crowd on the final day of the season.”

“Newcastle somehow enter the top 4 by Christmas”

And finally…

“Man City pay £50m for Cucurella but Brighton finish in European places.”
