I think it's a fair bet that Sonic the Hedgehog will point out his errors to him in his usual sympathetic, openhanded, understated sort of way. Mostly beginning, "Oi ref - you're a DISGRACE..." and including a number of exotic physical suggestions for the match offical(s) to follow if they're both astoundingly double-jointed and foully perverted...

And quite right, too.
