It's on the anti clockwise stretch between M4 junction and Heathrow. All 4 lanes closed so will inevitably lead to delays going clockwise too.
Just a heads up for you all!

If.... I were travelling to Reading today from Brighton, I would turn off at the M3 junction 11 and take the 1st exit at Bagshot and on through Bracknell... It is a quicker/shorter route anyway... trust me!

All route maps show if going to Reading to come off at M3 and go via Bracknell to Jct 10 of the M4 as quickest. I will go a similar route as we havea pick up in Guildford. A good tip is use TrafficEngland.com shows all delays on most roads and speeds vehicles are travelling at. My sons use it for their lorries to do their deliveries.

I agree with Muzzy it is a lot quicker than going M25 straight to M4

Would guess that traffic was queueing for about 10 miles (back to the M40) when I came past anti-clockwise about an hour ago. Thanks to satnav managed to get to Kempton Park quite easily, and went past a junction with the M4 on the way. Would recommend thinking about doing the same if anyone is heading to Reading from that direction, basically came off at the M40 towards London, off there after about 3 or 4 miles, turned right at a roundabout and followed the signs for Heathrow.
