They’ve also bought 3 young players this window - one for £10m - to join the 20 or so others on loan and the other teenagers coming through the academy - a strategy that’s put us into the top 6 and 5th round of the cup. Will that do ?

It really goes without saying that the club would love to make more good signings if they can, but if the right player isn't available at the right price, we don't want to just waste money for the sake of it. And as has been mentioned above, trying to keep Caicedo is also backing the manager.

Can’t speak for other posters but my comments on this thread are based purely on the verbatim words of the manager who has said we need players in specific positions and he has been clear with Tony Bloom on this. If you have an issue with RDZ comments then fine but we didn’t make them up.

As much as the OP sounds like a Palace fan, Chailey is a barberbot. Cant see his posts as I have him on ignore, but it's pretty damn clear that wherever he pops up it is in response to any potential challenge to the club, however slight, rational or justified
