ok thanx to the PM i now know its ....wk commence 13 Oct LDV Vans Trophy Southern Div draw (this is the one your 'free' 1st cup game voucher with seasons is for) dont get too excited ......its at home to Conference side Forest Green Rovers (they are from Glos), might see some goals then that evening perhaps? I will be real p155ed off if SC plays the reserves!

SC will play the reserves, no point risking 1st teamers for a crap cup like this. Plus it gives the reserves/youth a run out. Might even (and I'm hoping) that Jake Robinson will get a spell too.
I'm only going if its cheap to get in though, no way am I paying more than £10 to see it.

if he plays the reserves that is a rip off to season ticket holders and if say the club charge £ 10 then the club should refund the difference say above the tenner that the seaosn ticket holders have paid for a 'normal' one off ticket nothing else and silent is ripping off hte fans

Don't agree with the argument that it's a rip-off to play the reserves. It's up to the manager to field the team that he thinks are best suited to do the job. And imagine the furore if a key player got injured against Forest Green and was out for the rest of the season.

But I can't see it being a cheapie meself. The pre-season kickabouts are always full price aren't they? Also, no-one in their right mind would rip off 6000 season ticket holders. Or would they?

dont believe it crowds are dropping wot about cheaterfield about 1000 short capacity ok they only came in a min-bus but still plenty gaps about and why play any of our so called stars on saturday i mean they may get injured and be out rest season? argument doesnt stand also its taking the p155 big time outta the competition and not entering into the spirt in which it should be played. By the way wot do we win apart from presume a trip to cardiffscum? A new van for each of the players any money? anyone know?

Who's to say what's a full strength squad? It's horses for courses isn't it? But I know what you're saying. If you're not going to enter into the spirit of things then what's the point in turning up to play in the first place.

But fielding a full strength squad on Saturday is a necessity so the risk of injuring a key playing is one that has to be taken if we want to win the game. If we put the reseves out we probably would lose.

I still think people would be more pissed off if someone like Leon got crocked against Forest Green as opposed to during a genuine six pointer against Sheffield Wednesday or similar.
