Nice warm up for the Ashes. Oz are 170-8 against India, a lead of 193 - it would be good to play them on the back of a 3-0 drubbing.

Would it though? Aussie mentality towards sport would probably mean they'd take that as a kick up the arse to get even better and destroy us.

I was watching a replay last night. Sachin missed out on his 49th Test century with a ridiculous shot, chipping it to mid off.

Hard to believe that he has been playing test cricket over FOUR decades.

I'm really excited about the Ashes. I'll have to find a pub that opens 'early'!

But have they got the players to get better? The batsmen are pretty good but I'm not sure they have the bowlers.

He was out LBW?

The Aussies have a bit of a collapse when i turned it off this morning they were 70 odd for 0 and the commentators were saying easy it was. The Indian attack looked realy weak in the first innings

Oh crap. :dunce:

I've confused him with another wicket or a dropped catch. The fans looked absolutely gutted. Must pay more attention and drink less.

192 all out. India need 216 to win but are batting a man short as Laxman is crocked

India now 48 for 3 with Sehwag gone. An hour or so of Sehwag and it would have been game over. Game very much in the balance, maybe favouring Australia slightly as Laxman is injured.

Looked like India were heading to defeat, but great comeback. Need 12 with 2 wickets left with Sharma & Laxman's unbeaten 80 run partnership.

Great test match by all accounts

So much for Laxman not batting.

205-9 now - what a test match
