I prefer the sound of a mountain stream cascading down a rocky slope.

Mixes are legally downloadable, along with promotional mixes.
Sound systems post their dances on the net for download, they are also legal.
Who is stealing?
If I posted albums, singles etc, id agree with you, but im not. Im staying within the law, as I dont want to f-up nsc.

Sentinel from Stuttgart in Germany, are probably the biggest soundsystem in Europe right now...impressive as they are white Germans with a female selector (Nadia) which is unusual in the soundsystem game....
Dubplates are special records recorded by artists for soundsystems to play mostly in sound clashes between soundsystems......they are generally current hits, or old favourites with the lyrics changed to mention the sound system, or to diss the sounds they are clashing with. They dont come cheap, and some of the lyrics wont go down well in several areas.
Sentinel (who put this mix on the net btw, as do most of the sounds, as its easy advertising) won the 2005 World SoundClash (the first soundsystem from Europe to take it) in New York with the tunes on this mix, against some major sounds... Desert Storm (CA), Immortal (UK), Mighty Crown (JP), Bass Odyssey (JA) and Black Kat (USA), who were knocked out of the competition in that order.

Downbeat are famous for their Studio One, and if youre English and know
reggae, you dont have to be told that David Rodigan, has some serious music as well...
