You would think he has enough on his plate that the plight of an impoverished Second Division team would not be much of a distraction. Last week Wenger did, however, take time out to write a detailed, personal letter to John Prescott in support of Brighton & Hove Albion's desperate bid for planning consent for a new stadium. It's a very worthy cause, as without it they will wither. Wenger's words were heartfelt: 'As a community club for over 100 years they are an example of what is good about English football, and I believe that this important club on the South Coast deserves the chance to play in first-class facilities to ensure its survival.'

My Dad's been an Aresenal fan for 60 years (born in N London), and I'm taking him to Arsenal v Charlton on 28th Feb. I'll see if they'll let me take in a banner, and get something in the programme. Now I can quote Arsene himself!!

I haven't always liked wenger but now I have changed my mind, I would now be happy to see them win the league. How easily i am persuaded.

I've always liked Arsene Wenger, he is the best manager in the country and his team play the most entertaining style of football in England. It is just like watching Brazil. Now a great football man stands even taller in my book.

We are fortunate that Liam Brady is in charge of the Youth team at Arsenal and always puts in a word for us. Mr Wenger is quite fond of the young boys under Brady so talks to him often :glare:
