Apollo 13: Enhanced images reveal life on stricken spacecraft https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-52264743
Might watch the film again.
Might watch the film again.
I saw the film at the old Screen Three at the Brighton Odeon, then the largest screen south of Leicester Square, and it was stunning.
And the book it was based on, written Jim Lovell (played by Tom Hanks in the film) is well worth reading too.
Both are wonderful tributes to human ingenuity and the spirit of adventure.
I've always been aware of the symbolism of the number 13 of that Apollo mission but I was never previously aware that the explosion also happened on the 13th.

The ending always gets to you even though you know what's going to happen.
Lift off was 13 minutes past the hour.
I love that film. Easy to watch again and again.
