So after reading about his great milestone this week I could not help but be fascinated by his stats!

4000 winners, but 1000 falls! Sound like he needs to learn how to stay in a saddle, for every four wins he falls off once.

Christ I've done better than that on a donkey on Blackpool beach !!

Believe he has had approx 17,000 rides or something (could be wrong)? I think he has done unbelievably well to be able to carry on, seeing as some have fallen and it ends careers and even lives.

He is though much younger than I thought he was (39) - suppose eating crisp bread as a main meal, boiling hot baths for hours and weighting the same as a feather takes its toll.

Huge respect to AP though, a true great and an absolute legend.
