Me and a few mates are planning to start a regular 5-a-side match on Monday evening (provisionally) Think we will be using the Withdean, but again thats just a provisional idea.

So far there is about 5 or 6 of us who are up for it, and i'd say the most we can do is 7 a side. Ideally though 5 a side.

If anyone is interested in playing then either reply to the thread or pm me.

the Withdean 5-a-side pitch is CONCRETE,
good luck to whoever plays

Didn't realise that.

I just called them, and they told me that the pitch is now TARMAC :jester:

They failed to tell me that earlier! There's me wondering why it only cost £12 an hour to hire.

Anyway we will now probably use Falmer or Stanley Deason.

I am up for Withdean but be prepared for a small piece on concrete - 4 a side would be enough on that I tell thee !!

I was thinking of the astro pitch - fully floodlit. Its great up there, you can wear moulded studs...

I've played there. I don't know how you go about arranging the pitch, and several sides are there playing on Monday evenings. The pitch is nice though, and the goals a good size for a small pitch.

The King Alfred is okay for indoor games, using their wooden floored gym. You might have to use a sponge ball though, not sure. Advantage is having no weather, even lighting, and showers.

Right, state your preferred day and location and I'll try and book summat. I'm gonna try Moulsecoomb Leisure Centre, Withdean and King Alfred for Wednesdays provisionally just to see what the prices and availability are like.
