Wondered if you had managed to find out the turn around time from when we give it in to when we get it back.

Also, the cost you were quoted, is it for the increased number of pages we asked for?

Any luck with adverts? Might want to try a few of the local bars/clubs etc.

cheers again

Get in touch with The Large One. Although obviously they won't PAY for an ad since they are a fund-raising outfit. You would, however, get a dead classy ad since TLO would design it.

I will pm the large one now. Full back page would look good I think for it.

Im aiming for it to be going on sale at the protest march now because people are being slow in getting things in. Should shift a fair few that day I would imagine.

Be aware that ...

1. Selling while on the move is quite difficult.

2. The event will be heavily policed and stewarded. If large numbers turn up, sellers may not be allowed to obstruct the free movement of the march.

3. You need a street traders' licence from the Council to sell anything on Brighton seafront. They won't issue one for sales during the Party Conference.

Ok, so it is not a 'protest' march as such.

Yes it may be hard to sell on the move but I am happy to give it a go.

I am sure we can shift a few.

I really don't want to see a situation develop where the FFA Stewards have to ask you and your sales team to stop selling fanzines because you are getting in the way.

Here, there and every where
Richard at The WSL Printing Partnership on 01273 321103. He can give you an immediate quote.

Explain you are from the brighton fanzine that they printed last year.

Ask for a quote on the following:

36 pages.
a5 sized.
colour front and back cover.
500 copies.
ask them how long after we give them the disks etc would it be before we got the magazine back - 3 days
whether having a larger fanzine of 36 pages will still cost the same as before?
what format they need the files in and what format the pictures/fonts need to be saved in.

format to be saved in: quarck turnaround of 3 days - to be saved on disc

Getting back to me with quote............
