Discovered the YouTube show Pitch Meetings on YouTube a few weeks ago and I just bloody love it.
The premise is a screenwriter pitching a movie to a greedy movie producer, with both characters (and occasional side characters) all being played by Canadian actor and comedian Ryan George, who also writes the skits.
Really it’s just a framing device for short reviews/plot summaries of movies old and new, with lots of dry wit, a few catchphrases, etc.
Here’s one of my favourites to give you a taste - but obviously it really helps if you’ve seen the movie he’s making jokes about.
