This is the ultimate folly of followinga NIMBY course of action and I hope the residents of Falmer realise this.
The people living in Brusnswick area of Brighton have opposed at everty turn any attempt to modernise the area including the Westy Pier and now because of thier intransigence, the bloody thing has fallen in the sea and I for one say "good riddance, get the rest of the bloody eyesore demolished".
If Falmer is eventually rejected I hope they build something on the site that is totally out of character with the area, like a waste incinerator that has lorries running past it at all hours and stinks to high heaven.
