This is the sort of celebration that should be punished - not taking your shirt off

I'll be surprised if Palace total 30 goals this season!

I didn't see it but maybe the ref didn't book him because miracles like Palace scoring don't happen that often.

right ok, he was being booed from the off for playing for there enemies Birmingham, he scored and was loving it. what did he do wrong? stood with his arms out facing the Villa fans. oh no ludicrous:rolleyes: if he put his middle finger up or did something similar to David Healy did against the Welsh then yea he should av been booked. but if every player who went up to the opposing fans smiling and holding there ears got booked then there would be alot more bans. Hendrie got booked for leaving the field of play which is fair enough. remember Drogba against PSG in the champions league?did he get booked? dont think so

funny you should say that cos Palace have scored in all there games so far apart from Chelsea which i think is bloody good. also we hold the record for scoring consecutively in away games. 8 or 9 it is i believe. now if you'd said miracles like Palace keeping a clean sheet then that would be a different matter

4 things:-

1) Don't we all love to see that sort of passion from our players.

2) It could have sparked a pitch invasion (Remember Scott McCleish and the North Stand against Orient in the 4-4 in '97).

[I'm not sure how you square 1) & 2)]

3) To the letter, Palace cheated when you compare it to what Hendry did and got booked (Who gives a stuff whether the respective players left the playing area or not).

4) It's all totally academic. Palace are heading back from whence they came last season. Can you still get a bet on for them to be relegated?
