I liken the picking of players who have been tipped to come here by various 'sources' a bit like the tactic employed by my nephew when picking a horse for the National. In the lead up to the big race he pretty much names every runner before eventually settling on the loser. However, whoever wins is always greeted with a 'I told you so'...
Sure enough we will sign someone soon and when we do the odd thread or two will be bounced by someone ready to take the adulation of being proved 'right'.
My particualr favourite tipster is Mark by the Sea who often appears on the argus website. He is most amusing, predicting, changing, adapting, predicting... He even got one right once and... well... now he is of course a god.
