On the website it says season tickets at the Amex in the family stand for under 16's is 425 pounds. But does anyone know when it is from, eg, under 16 at first game of season, etc?

And what happens to kids in the Family Stand when they come of age, need a ticket elsewhere in the ground, but find that because we're in the Premier League none are available? Top of the waiting list?

The family stand isn't exclusively for families. If they can't find one elsewhere they'll have to stay there with mum and dad!

The age rules, according to the Application Form:-

Senior Citizen rate applies to those who achieve their 65th birthday before 5th August 2011;
Under 18 rate applies to those who have not reached their 18th birthday before 5th August 2011;
Under 16 rate applies to those who have not reached their 16th birthday before 5th August 2011;
Under 10 rate applies to those who have not reached their 10th birthday before 5th August 2011.

Proof of age is required (Copy of Birth Certificate, Driving Licence, Passport or NUS card).

Is that right?

I thought that for each adult there has to be at least one child

They are keeping an area season ticket free,i guess you will have no choice but to sit there if they then allow season tickets in that area.It sounds like they are going to push for the extra seats pretty quickly as well if we start filling the place.

I asked this question and was told:
"we honestly don't know what we will do yet with such a scenario"..

So I plumped for me and my lad in Upper West instead

Does seem to have been an oversight by the club. If we are as successful as Bloom wants and we do get a season ticket waiting list kids and parents are going to have a hard time once they reach the age where they are no longer allowed in the Family stand.

It's only an issue if the ground was full, with a waiting list. Im sure it would be easy to place 'coming of age' juniors at the top of such a list. I am also 100% confident there would never be a scenario where there were more coming of age youngsters than there were non STH renewals in other parts of the ground, even if there was a waiting list, so non problem really!

I've got a presentation booked for this Thursday morning. Anyone got any idea as to how booked up the Family Stand is looking?

I was in the ticket office on Friday, and the 'indication' was that there were plenty left in this area (they weren't allowed to say details but knew the details nudge nudge say no more).

Wanted to brace myself for Thursday as to whether there would be either only a sporadic few left, or still enough to choose a nice spot for me and the nipper? (not that I'd be picky mind!)

Neither here nor there
Family Stand is looking pretty good as of this morning - I expected to be shunted towards the corners at pitch level but was pleasantly surprised to find I could get seats three rows from the top, about level with the edge of the penalty area. Very happy with that and I imagine a lot of others will feel the same this week when they see what's still available.

Im working on the basis that old kids and dads will have a good chance of gettting new seats after extension( ive got a few years still to go in family) . The bigger question for me will be is whether my kids will actually want to sit with their dad in a few years!

Good enough! Looking forward to it with excitement rather than trepidation then!

Sounds good. Can you give an idea of what it goes back to in rows (I dunno, Z, or AA or whatever), and how the blocks work from corner to nearer the halfway line?
