Americans are disgusting people.............and it doesn't stop at their culinary preferences , what a top night out, shove down a couple of those babys washed down with a bucket of coke then a four hour marathon of springer, oprah and finally nodding off to the relaxing tones of wwf..............they are definitely the:dunce: :dunce: 's ef the planet, closely followed by australians (unfortunately)

don't get me started on this , i have just moved to perth and have never seen so many fat people in my life, and by fat i mean obese, the australian way of govt. whilst supposedly modelled on the westminster system is far more like the u.s , the attitude of the australian govt is so aligned to that of G W Bush it makes you want to cringe.......the only two countries in the developed world who refused to sign the kyoto protocol..!!!!! the general fiscal policy is rather crude and hopelessly over administered and the paranoia about the threat of terrorism verges on the ridiculous..............i dont wish to continue as i have to go to sleep soon but..............oh never mind......:(

Because Australia has the fastest-growing obesity rate in the world (See here)

They'll be the fattest nation in the world if the current trend continues

sorry i realize thats a very harsh generalization and probably a little unwarranted, oz is a great country with some top people but jeeeesus the suburbs make you wonder...................having lived in the eastern suburbs of sydney for 18 yrs and now in the 'burbs of perth i think i may be sufferring delayed culture shock.

where's your home town BTW..??:shootself

So what makes you think signing up to kyoto is a good thing?

countries like oz should be leading the way in asia and setting an example.......we all know about global warming and where it will take us,the howard govt. refusal to sign up is grossly irresponsible and makes the work undertaken by other countries somewhat futile.............i have two young'uns and i do think about their futures and what things will be like in 50 yrs.........
