... that even if we manage to sign someone this evening, they would have to have been registered by 5pm today in order to play tomorrow? Hence we won't have any reinforcements in for Hillsborough.
For the record, I'm not knocking Gus. I'm sure he is doing his utmost to bring good additions to the squad and will pull a rabbit out of the hat soon. I'm happy with that as would rather have the right player than just any player out of panic.
However I was looking forward to seeing someone new tomorrow!
