Some will, some won't - they can't all fit into the first team though, so some of them will have to go on loan - always interesting to see who does where and how they get on.

Also difficult to know which u21s will be promoted this summer / which ones will actually come back / which ones will go on loan. We normally have about 15-20 players...

Both Weiffer and Minteh are more than experienced in top flight European football and will likely go straight in to the Senior squad - at least I hope so - they both can fill roles that Hürzeler will likely use heavily in his system.

Not sure about the others we’ve signed but the youth teams and loan programme are perfectly adequate pathways for young players to develop. The Premier League is a big jump from both PL2 and European leagues in terms of pace and intensity so our future squad players will be some of those now playing in the Us and going out on loan this window to build up stamina/bulk and hone technical skills with regular matches.

Welbeck, Mitoma, Pedro, Estupinan, Igor, Barco went into the prem squad

Bissouma, Caicedo, MacAlistair, White, Sanchez, Hinshelwood, Verbruggen, Van Hecke, WBG, Baleba, Ferguson didn't

Looking at the signings it's more likely they're here to be developed

Not quite sure sticking a 15 year old Sanchez and Ferguson or 8 year old Hinshelwood straight in the first team would have been a good idea.
