Seems a strange way of the police trying to get the occupants to open the door by shouting"COME TO THE DOOR,I AM ARMED!!".
No way I would open the door if someone shouted that through my letterbox.
Thats maybe why these things drag on for hours.

Waiting for all the students to arrive .
There were 4 vans of plod at Shoreham 6pm . . . Not sure if they were waiting for a rave in a care home, taking a breather from Brighton duties or just enjoying a drive out from base. I did ask if there were no more than 6 in a van, which got half. Chuckle from a few, not sure the rest understood the joke.

I heard it was because a bat crashed into a car. We were warned this would happen.
