Vitalijs Maksimenko scored for Latvia this evening

Albion’s Vitalijs Maksimenko is off the mark at international level.
The Seagulls defender grabbed his first goal for Latvia with a stoppage-time header to earn a 1-1 draw in a friendly away to Ukraine tonight.
Maksimenko, who is out of contract at the end of the season, is currently on a season-long loan with Dutch second division outfit VVV-Venlo.
He came on as a half-time substitute tonight to win his 14th cap for Latvia.
